    Go there quite often Friday lunchtimes after 12:30. Consistently good fish, chips and peas  often excellent fish, never bad in my experience.
    I can't vouch for the quality at other less busy times, may not be as good.
    Only thing against it for me are the set meal prices.
    They do a set small meal which does not include peas at a lower price. They probably realise lots of people like peas with their fish and chips, but don't like large meals. You can't get this except by going for the higher priced set meal, which is too much to eat for many people.
    I don't like that. Why not offer smaller portions at lower prices and let people decide exactly what they want?
    I think we know the answer  screw as much as you can out of the customer.
